AMAZON JUNGLE !!!!

alright, so we were suppose to spend a month in the jungle, but 2 weeks was plenty. It was a lot of fun, but whoa it was hot as hell. Everyday was around 34 degrees Celsius, plus a humidity that was often in the 80's or higher. Im gonna try to post pics, but not sure how it will go. Alright, so what happened in the jungle. Well..... I was able to see lots of different monkey's, some snakes, many spiders, crazy coloured frogs - and yes I did encounter a poisoness dart frog. I also saw some caiman, went fishing and caught piranha, which we later ate, it was actually pretty damn good. oh yeah, there was also a baby anteater at the lodge, which at first was cute and entertaining, but became very annoying. it was basically an attention whore and liked to piss us off, but it was good fun. It was basically like a dog only more demanding. The scariest part was during our last transect. Oh yeah I guess I should tell you what our research was. Every other day we were either sitting across the river from a clay watching and recording the macaw activity, or walking on transects seeing what mammels we encountered. The macaw colpa was easy work, and rob and I were partners. The most we saw in one day was around 85. they are basically massive parrots. alright, so on the last day during our transect which started at 530 in the morning, rob and I had a scary moment. We ran into a pack of 50 white lipped peccary on the trail. look them up on google. it is basically a wild pig, and they are massive and vicious. anyways, they were on the trail, and rob, myself, and our guide julio were hiding behind a tree, which was pretty small. a couple were sniffing us out and coming towards us. they were about 5 metres away and i thought i was doomed, cuz one was about to charge us. Thanks god julio ran at it with a machete and chopped down a small tree. the noise scared them off, and it was quite the rush. well... all in all if you ever have the chance go the jungle. Despite the heat, the experience is phenomenal. here are some pics.....
